Window bright,
lace curtain etches glass...
subtlety diffused.
The sun burns my eyes
like the holy of holies.

About the fragile panes
slight movements play
as moths
whose soft wings flutter
drawn towards the light.
They do not know
that they are made of it.

Within this silent space
I yearn to reach out my hands,
watch them disappear
into luminosity,
then follow if I dare.
